Dear Visitor,

Welcome to the RAINVISION project website.

RAINVISION is a European research that kicked off on 1 January 2012 and which, for the next two years, will perform research into the influence of road markings on driver behaviour. Special attention will be devoted to night-time driving conditions under all weather scenarios (dry, wet and wet and rainy) and to the ageing population aspect.

The results of the project are expected to make a positive contribution to road safety, thus contributing to the ambitious objective of reducing fatalities by 50% by 2020.

We wish you a pleasant reading.
